As volunterist (age20 - still studying) with one of the pendakwah bebas helping in doing research and conducting surveys on such moral degradation.i've seen data's and statistic of serious moral degradation in the past few years back,this is one of it,and its happening at a fast rate.It worries me,as i'm concerned,i have a lil sister, I love her and I don’t 1 something bad to happen to her (praying).
Recent survey shows that teens at secondary school had begun exploring themself to the knowledge of sex (its not wrong but will be without proper guidence). Peer pressure make things worse,challenging each other for 1st to exprience sex,a chase for 1st to get bf/gf, the influence of porno movie, the breaking of virginity by finger and many more.These are some of the factor and influences.The youngest seem to be at the age of 10 according to statistic.Yup its surprising figure,but zap again,thats what happening,and we shud be worrying.
In a modern world today, where people are too bz chasing their own needs,we have forgotten to stop,to look at ourself and others,to undertstand oneself,the improtant of existance,the role we play,and the improtant of God in daily life.We've been very sellfish and self centered.Parents failure to demostrate gud parenting skills (understand their child’s needs, lack of love,care and touch,failed to educate with religious knowledge, show a gud example, etc3x) are contributing to the increased numbers of social problem.Feeling of shame is not being introduced in the society lately (lack of self pride due to improper of education),worsen by the coming back of the latest fashion from the pharoah era.
Abt having partners,we can't denied that God created everything in pairs.God created Adam,and then Eve (men and women) as his partner out of the loneliness he felt.Therefore,we can’t denied that we are in need of each other.Relationship cannot be avoided but can be directed to the rite way,rite time and rite method (which most of us prefer not to abite). Islam is not there to stop us from falling in love, but Islam is there to teach us and to guide us in falling in love.
Another thing,abt sex,it’s one of human’s basic need.Sex indeed is 1 of God’s precious gift ,theres nothing nicer then that to a human,unless someone master the sensation of concerntration in prayer.
Becos sex is one of human basic needs,human can’t leave without it,therefore they’ll find way to get it.The lawful way its after we get married,then we can hav sex with our lawful partner,but for those who unable,or not prepared,or do not want to hold responsibilities,playing around will do.Or shud I say,the ‘touch and go’, ‘try and leave’ method is widely prefered.
As mentioned,couple taking film while performing sex,then distributing it to others without feeling of shame,is actually making things worse (most of them don’t realise that).people who hav just reach puberty (such as our siblings) or people having a high sex drive will automatically trigger their senses and seeing that people seem to enjoy having sex,wanting them to give it a try.We hav to acknowledge that when ur involved with sex,its hard to stop,so its better not to start a unlawful 1. The distribution of porn (in the local universities via intranet and internet),thats where the problem starts and gets worse.The new technology hav been misused by some irrisponsible people,and the impact is outrageous,tremendous disaster. Many people are actually influenced by these porn videos,as they see,they want to givit a try,the worse of all,there’s no 1 to take the effort to educate and put a stop to this.
Lets take consideration of identity crisis,most of teens nowdays are actually having serious identity crisis (unable to differentiate gud or bad, boy or girl,understand 1self or not etc),pity to most,help is actually out there,but its either we fail to find it,or we rather simply ignore it (avoid discussion abt it),and follow with the flow (a decision that dooms us). Adding to that,with family problems, early age in holding responsibilities (taking care of siblings),making us bz and hav no time for ourself.
Finding strenght in oneself, vision and mission helps in reducing low selfesteem,nobody can bring us out of our dark age except we ourself. And when we failed to consider all these,the identity crisis (problem within ourself and surroundings) and low selfesteem, then, we are in the state of valnurable.
Love,a word often used but bare no meaning to those who don’t understand it.As one of the basic needs of human being,many have their own interpretation,and the truth is only one,that is the love of God to humankind,wanting us to conduct the best and sincerely to avoid the hell fire. People who lack of love will find ways to be loved,and usually those who are lack of selfesteem will eventually grab anybody crosses in their life whom they think will provide them with love and care regardless of the behaviour of the partner,and putting aside family expectation (especially those who have problems with their family).Thats when we starts to say love blind us,but we can clearly see that when a person ask us to do something bad without thinking of the effect later on, that’s not love. That’s manipulation of greed.
Telling girl/women stupid, dumb, idiot and words alike,is seriously showing that we hav not reach a state of maturity. If we were saying so, than, its stupid of our mother and our sister, which I personally think u won’t agree to that. Non of these “species” (Men & Women) are born stupidier then other,its how we use our gifted brain that make the differences.We often hear abt men having 9 brains and 1 desire, while women having 1 brain and 9 desires,dat can only be taken into account with deep reseach and observing.But somehow,looking back to the basic of responsibility of men on women, is undeniable. We are commanded by God to protect them,which at this time we see mass of neglactance. ( exp – brothers neglact in protecting lil sis, bf neglact in protecting their future wife from going astray in desire of being love).
The painfull part. Being cheated, an act of disrespect, dishonest, ect, in past relationship will surely wound the heart of the person involved.At times, we have to reflect back to ourself to understand why it happen? And for sure such things happen with a reason. But I just hope that, (I’ll alwiz say dis in my speech) wateva happen btw us and the other party, (in a relationship), innocent people cant be put to blame (siblings, friends, and new comers). There are people who hav no intention to hurt other people’s feeling, but at the end, the innocent are being hurt 2x badly, becos we carry the past with us in our new relationship, thus putting the previous blame to the innocent whom are about to experience love. What goes around comes around does not apply dis way, thats God’s job, its not rite to punish others, there will be a counter balanced later on.
Lets talk abt religious point of view shall we. Is it to late to REPENT? Nope, nothing is too late abt repenting (bertaubat) unless the end of time (reaching of dooms day - Kiamat). People make mistakes,no ones perfect,and from mistakes we learned to improve ourself,and from mistakes will make us be more wiser and thankfull to God. Forgiveness is God’s job,we just hav to pray and ask from him,after all,He is the most forgiver. The things had past,we cant reverse time to undo it,we hav to learn to live with it,is that only we try our VERY BEST not to return to the old attitude and learn to forgive ourself for the past. [Those that turn to God in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that fast in devotion to the cause of God; that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by God, shall be richly rewarded. proclaim the glad tidings to the believers. (Al-Tawba, 112) ]
In summary,I saw that,i'm witnessing and i'm observing,such thing happen bcos of a reason,as I can see, our failure to follow the guidence given by God,cause the problem. Hard life, desperation, ignorence, being surpress, provoked, etc, make us do anything without giving a 2nd thought.[thats when the heart control the brain]. Somehow,it is important to control ourself and to keep in mind that we will meet our creator someday,is just that we hav to do our best not to be punish for too long or in another word minimize our sins. Beside that,we can redeem our sins with reward by helping others ward off evil. [The repayment of a bad action is one equivalent to it. But if someone pardons and puts things right, his reward is with Allah… (Qur’an, 42:40) ]
We can't stop the process of the end of time,as known by the muslim,approaching the end of time,things like this will happen everywhere,we can't stop everyone,nor can we join them,but we can stop our love once(siblings) from being 'mangsa keadaan'.
How can we help? Learn ourself, know the person we are, Set a focus point in life, vision, mission, needs, expectation, understand ourself. STOP the distribution of porn!! [ BEWARE, if u love ur sis, ur mother, ur lil bro, stop it, it’s the road to hell fire]. Keep ourself bz with productive activities (and i don't mean the title of the main article). Learn wat is sincerity is all about. Learn the detection of lies in relationship. Don’t over trust the promises of strangers or people whom u know in a short period of time.
